Meditation
has been around for many thousands of years. In essence it is a spiritual
practice, but you do not need to sit cross-legged on a mountain top
to reap the benefits of meditation!
Regular relaxation and meditation
gives a feeling of calm as we forget all our worldly problems. This
allows us to contact our inner self and find that peace which is available
to all.
Meditation is a very soothing way to cope with the anxieties and stresses
of every day life. It slows the heartbeat and lowers the blood pressure! It
reduces stress, anxiety, insomnia; improves concentration, personal
relationships, general health, and self confidence.....
It helps us stay focused in the present moment, leaving worries from
the past behind, and not worrying about the future.
Meditation is tool we use for creating balance between mind, body, and
spirit.
Most of us in this day and age live very hectic lives. We have many
responsibilities, our work, our families, our friendships, our social,
community, and political responsibilities. Even a lot of our recreational
activities take a lot of our attention and energy.
It takes practise like all
new things we learn.
If you consistently practise meditation, then the whole of your aura
will expand, and reveal the hidden beauties of your soul, for it is
true that the majority of people are aware of a very small part of their
inward spiritual nature. It is something that is very natural for us,
so as we begin to cultivate this habit we will find it easier and easier
to go within. By using this form of relaxation, we can bring stillness
and quietude into our busy lives.
